Helmut Duffe and Emanuel Vogt:| Windsbach Psalms I

For many years, the Windsbach Psalms have been an integral part of the liturgy sung at church services and prayers featuring the Windsbacher Knabenchor. They will also be familiar to the choir’s countless friends from the ensemble’s motet concerts at St Lorenz Nuremberg. Dedicated to the low voices of the Windsbacher Knabenchor, the meditative psalms were composed by Helmut Duffe and Emanuel Vogt. Here, these meditative psalms are framed by brief organ improvisations by the two composers.
