Sylvia Schramm-Heilfort

Sylvia Schramm-Heilfort was born in Gera, grew up in Zeitz and completed her vocal studies at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig. She took part in several chanson and musical theatre workshops with Gisela May. Part of her studies in musical theatre was with Karin Waterstraat at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. While still studying, she appeared as Eliza in My Fair Lady in Chemnitz and became a permanent member in 1991. She has made guest appearances in Berlin, Kiel, Würzburg, Saarbrücken, Lübeck, Gera and in the Beethovenhalle Bonn. In Chemnitz she has performed many roles including Evita, Hodel in Anatevka, Anita in West Side Story, Iduna in Das Feuerwerk, Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show, Madame Thénardier in Les Misérables and Mrs. Pearce in My Fair Lady.
