Reto Rosin

Reto Rosin studied at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart with Hildemarie Keim and at the College of Music Nuremberg with Siegfried Jerusalem. He made his professional debut at the Staatsoper Stuttgart in the 1999/2000 season. Since then, engagements at opera houses and festivals both at home and abroad have taken he tenor to Saarbrücken, Kaiserslautern, Bielefeld, Vancouver, Buenos Aires, Passau, Regensburg, Linz and Lucerne. He has worked with directors including Hans Neuenfels, Martin Ku¨ej, Klaus Zehelein and Aron Stiehl and performed under conductors such as James Levine, Zubin Mehta, Georges Prêtre, Howard Arman and Lothar Zagrosek. Recently, Rosin sang the roles of Prince in Rusalka, Hans in The Bartered Bride, Cavaradossi, Max and Lohengrin. In 2006, he was appointed lecturer for singing at the University of Passau. He has been a regular guest performer in Chemnitz since 2016.
