Benedikt Haag

Benedikt Haag studied choral conducting - under Prof Michael Brille - music education and church music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. As a scholarship holder in the Conductor's Forum of the German Music Council, he was inspired by Hans-Christoph Rademann, Jos van Veldhoven, Jörg-Peter Weigle and has worked with, among others, the RIAS Kammerchor Berlin, the MDR Rundfunkchor and the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra. In addition to the Münchner Motettenchor, he is artistic director of the Münchner Konzertchor and the Amadeus-Chor. With his ensembles he covers the entire range of a cappella and choral-symphonic literature and is also in demand as a rehearsal director for renowned conductors.
