Lutz Rademacher

Lutz Rademacher was born in Lübeck in 1969and studied conducting with Klauspeter Seibel atthe Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg.He was assistant to the principal conductor atthe Theater Basel and principal Kapellmeister atthe Theater Freiburg. Rademacher developed hisinterestin new forms of music theatre in encounterswith stage directors such as Claus Guth and CalixtoBieito.He worked together with Sebastian Nüblingto bring to life the Judith project, with which hegave his debut at the Salzburger Festspiele and theStaatsoper Stuttgart. Further guest appearanceshave seen him conduct at the Komische Oper Berlin,in Hanover and the Antwerp/Ghent. He regularlyworks with the Deutsche Symphonie OrchesterBerlin. Since the beginning of the 2013/14 season,Lutz Rademacher has been Generalmusikdirektorat the Landestheater Detmold.
