Franziska Abram
Franziska Abram was born in Quedlinburg and began to study singing as a private pupil with Prof. Christian Elßner aged 16. Following her A-Levels at the Landesgymnasium für Musik Wernigerode, she completed a degree in speech therapy at the Medizinische Hochschule at Hanover.

Currently, she is studying singing with Prof. Marina Sandel at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hanover. Having successfully achieved her Bachelor’s degree in 2017, she has turned her attention to operatic repertoires as part of her Master’s programme. Master classes with Prof. Christian Elßner, Roman Trekel, Aribert Reimann, Claudia Barainsky, Peter Berne, Dagmar Schellenberger, Prof. Brigitte Fassbaender, and Edita Gruberova, as well as several performances as a soloist in concerts and church services have complemented and enriched her education. On the opera stage, Franziska Abram can be seen in the roles of Papagena in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, as Norina in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale, or as Lieschen in Bach’s Coffee Cantata. Since 2017, she has held a scholarship with Live Music Now Hanover.
