Marie Henriette Reinhold

Marie Henriette Reinhold
Marie Henriette Reinhold was born in Leipzig. Raised by musical parents, she followed her A-Levels at the Landesschule Pforta with studies in musicology and arts management at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar and the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena. From 2008 onwards, she received singing tuition from Prof. Kammersänger Roland Schubert; since October 2011, she has been enrolled as a student of classical singing with Prof. Elvira Dreßen at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig, currently as a master class student.

As a soloist, Marie Henriette Reinhold has performed at concert halls and important churches across Germany and Europe, appearing alongside the Orchestre des Champs-Élysées and the Collegium Vocale Gent directed by Philipp Herreweghe, the Batzdorfer Hofkapelle, the Bachchor Munich, Concerto Köln, and the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig. Likewise, she has joined forces with the Baroque ensemble Il Giardino Armonico, the Gaechinger Cantorey directed by Hans-Christoph Rademann, as well as the Kammerchor Stuttgart directed by Frieder Bernius. Master classes with Jonathan Alder, Alexander Schmalcz, and Peter Schreier have offered her great inspiration in the field of Lied singing.

Marie Henriette Reinhold was awarded first prize in the junior category at the Bundeswettbewerb Gesang in Berlin in 2012, and was equally successful at the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg in 2014.
