Alex Potter

Alex Potter is a sought-after interpreter of 17th and 18th-century music. He works with conductors such as Philippe Herreweghe, Thomas Hengelbrock, Lars Ulrik Mortensen, Frieder Bernius, Jordi Savall, Roland Wilson, Rudolf Lutz, and Jos van Veldhoven. Potter‘s musical career began as a choirboy at Southwark Cathedral in London. He was a Choral Scholar at the New College of Oxford University and at the same time studied musicology. Afterward, he completed his education in early music with Gerd Türk and Evelyn Tubb at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland.
