Luise Haugk
Luise Haugk was born in Erfurt and studied modern oboe at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden and at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin. During her studies she had already begun to take interest in historical performance practice and in the Baroque oboe. Concert engagements soon followed in various Baroque ensembles such as the Lauttencompagney Berlin and the Dresden Barockorchester, with which she has regularly collaborated, also as a soloist. From 2003 to 2005, Lusie Haugk studied Baroque oboe at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam under Alfredo Bernardini. She lives as a freelance oboist in Dresden and works with orchestras such as Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Concerto Köln, English Baroque Soloists, Musica Florea, Collegium Marianum, Czech Ensemble Baroque, Elbipolis, Les Amis de Philippe, among others. Concert tours have led her to many European countries and to Japan.
Luise Haugk teaches modern oboe at the Heinrich Schütz Konservatorium Dresden and has given lessons in Baroque oboe in Valtice at the International Summer School of Early Music since 2015.
