Narine Yeghiyan

Narine Yeghiyan studied opera singing with Prof. Nelly Pirumova at the state conservatoire at her home town of Yerevan (Armenia). She has appeared as a guest soloist at the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Yerevan, and has attended numerous masterclasses, for example with Deborah Polaski, Francisco Araiza, and Grace Bumbry. Yeghiyan masters a broad repertoire, and she regularly performs in concerts in various European cities. Since 2013, Yeghiyan has held a scholarship from the Richard-Wagner-Verband, and she has been a member of the ensemble at the Staatsoper Berlin im Schiller Theater since the beginning of the 2013/14 season. The soprano has worked with Daniel Barenboim, René Jacobs, and Sir Simon Rattle.
