Vo|cal mu|sic: the German Duden lexicon offers only the simple explanation ‘sung music’ for this term, and Wikipedia similarly has little more to add than ‘a genre performed by one or more singers, with or without instrumental accompaniment’. Indeed, why should one need to explain the term with words if it can be experienced through sound: our recordings present sonic delights of sacred choral music of the highest standard. Renowned artists such as the Windsbach Boys Choir, St Thomas’s Boys Choir Leipzig, the Hanover Boys Choir, and the Hanover Girls Choir, as well as brilliant ensembles such as the Daarler Vocal Consort, Sjaella, the Vokalakademie Berlin, I Vocalisti, and the Kammerchor Saarbrücken are the guarantors for the artistic quality of our recordings. Our choirs perform alongside soloists such as Martin Petzold and Klaus Mertens, and guide listeners from Renaissance to contemporary sound worlds. So as not to forget to mention any of our artists, we invite you to have a good look around on our web-pages: there is much to explore!
