Mozart himself died while working on the piece and it was completed by his student, Franz Xaver S\u00fcssmayr. But one piece is missing; the &#8220;Amen&#8221; fugue after the &#8220;Lacrymosa&#8221; ends after 14 bars. For the Gutenberg Kammerchor under the direction of Prof. Felix Koch, his colleague Birger Petersen, Professor of Music Theory at the Mainz School of Music, has completed the section in the style and spirit of Mozart.
