From Early Music to the performance of a work written especially for the Windsbach Boys Choir: diverse sound-worlds meet on this recording with the Windsbach Boys Choir. The ensemble\u2019s concert tour in July 2004 already impressively demonstrated the fruitfulness of the cooperation between the brass ensemble bach, blech & blues and the organist Klaus Singer. Renaissance and Baroque works by masters such as Josquin des Pr\u00e9z, Claudio Monteverdi, or Johann Sebastian Bach are placed in a dialogue with the avant-gardist tone-language of contemporary composers such as Steffen Schorn or Vytautas Mi\u0161kinis. The CD contains a world premiere recording of the piece Dem\u00fctig bitten by the New York-based composer John Hollenbeck.
