Echo Klassik
The Echo Klassik counts among the globe’s most prestigious music awards. The Deutsche Phono-Akademie (the culture department of the national institute of the music industry) annually awards the Echo Klassik to national and international artists for exceptional achievements. Since 1992, the Echo’s award ceremony constitutes a highlight of the musical year. Rondeau Production and its artists have been awarded the Echo Klassik several times:
St Thomas’s Boys Choir Leipzig
St Thomas’s Boys Choir Leipzig received the Echo Klassik in 2012. Founded in 1212, the choir celebrated its 800th anniversary in 2012, and was awarded a special prize in recognition of this extraordinary heritage.

Hanover’s leading choirs were awarded the Echo Klassik in 2010: nine choirs from the capital of Lower Saxony received the award in the category ‘Best Choral Recording of the Year – 20th/21st-Century Choral/Ensemble Music’ for their recording ‘Songs of Faith’ (2-CD ROP6031/32).
CD ROP7001

The Verband Deutscher Tonmeister (organisation of German sound engineers) awards this prize bi-annually, acknowledging a particularly well-produced sound recording as well as a production’s overall sound. Rondeau’s CD was awarded the prize as the best recording of vocal-music. There are further Golden Bobby awards in the categories instrumental music (classic), jazz, and film music.
